World’s Tallest Metal Slide

Have you ever slid down the world’s tallest metal slide that faces west on a beach in mid-August on a hot sunny day? I haven’t but I tried to get my 2 children to slide down. The extreme height and the hot metal made for a fun day. The behemoth is located on Manistee, Michigan’s main beach. As of 2020, it is still standing. Historic preservation at its best.
