Description
This is a work in progress. Photographing snow that is accurately white AND gives the feeling of freezing is my goal. There are many sandstone caves along the Mississippi River. I hike to one near my house and huddle inside the west facing sunlit warmish cave. Then I dash out about 15′ onto the river and lie down and take some photos. Then I run back to the cave to warm up and change the settings on camera. People see me doing this and ask, “Are you okay?” or “What are you doing?” I say with a muffled voice, “Too cold to talk!”
