Date February 18, 2021. Temperature +14˚. Slight NNW wind. Perfect evening for a winter walk. This biker hotshot rode their 4″ fat tire bike west to east from the 55406 of Minneapolis to the 55105 of Saint Paul trudging over the frozen Mississippi River. I was astounded. The only reason I saw them was because my dog spotted them. Curry is in bottom left hand corner of photo. Curry is an observant, strong predacious pooch and he wanted to bolt down the 60″ ledge and go in pursuit of this highly unfamiliar moving object. Curry could not find safe passage down so continued to pursue the biker by running all over the woods. I have the pictures that show the tale of a biker hotshot who survived not only safe passage over the frozen river but also a biker hotshot who almost got to meet Curry.
